Mødrehjælpen – family charity

In 2024, Mødrehjælpen asked if I would create a poster for their webshop, with all profits going to Danish families facing difficult circumstances. I was more than happy to say yes!

During the idea phase, I kept coming back to a theme that’ very present in our own home with our own kids, aged 6 and 8: learning to notice the things you’re good at, instead of always focusing on what you can’t do. It’s something that applies to grown-ups too – and it’s such a helpful practice. Because everyone has something that comes naturally to them, which might be difficult for others. And those are the things we should practice highlighting – and being grateful for.

I’ve tried to create a diverse poster where all children can see themselves reflected – either in the activities or the appearance of the characters.
